You will test these developments to create and improve a (hydro)mechanical model of a deep geothermal site in Alsace and a statistical model of the Lacq site in the Pyrenees. You will use induced seismicity catalogs as input data for these models.<br /><br /> Required Skills and Qualities: PhD in seismology (geosciences) or rock mechanics obtained within the last 3 years (legal eligibility rule for post-doctoral positions) Strong knowledge in physical phenomena modeling and inverse problems Knowledge of computing environments and languages, particularly Python Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Initiative Ability to work autonomously in organizing daily work while also integrating into multidisciplinary team work Communication skills, good interpersonal relations regardless of group size English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)<br /> <b>Location : </b>ORLEANS<br /> Tue, 29 Sep 2026 08:21:47 Z
