Context and contributions of the position

The Project Support, Production and Performance Directorate (D3P) supports operational departments in preparing and delivering their scientific activities, while also evaluating and improving the institution's overall performance.

Job description

- Coordinate, in line with the scientific strategy, the arrangements and contracting of national public agreements (DGPR, DGALN/DEB, DGEC, OFB, others...), in close connection with the relevant DOs;

-Provide support and expertise to Operational Directions on the most suitable contracting methods, involving the relevant functional departments (including DF/CAPE, DSTA/AJ, others);

-Ensure proper monitoring of BRGM's commitments (costs, deadlines, deliverables, etc.) by relying on a network of technical coordinators identified in each Operational Directions, throughout the duration of each agreement, and provide consolidated reporting to the clients;

-Participate in the dynamic development of BRGM's activities, in a manner consistent with the production capacities of the Operational Directions, including those of the subsidiary "BRGM-Explore";

-Supporting the Operational Directions, be able to internally gather prospective topics of interest across your portfolio of funders;

- Supporting the deputy director for territorial strategy and public service, ensure the consolidation of national public activities, particularly in preparation for the National Steering Committee meeting; and any other reporting or promotion needs related to support activities for public policies;

-Participate in consolidating the offer and order books maintained by the RSPs and Operational Directions, in order to have a comprehensive and forward-looking view of activities and the necessary resources;

-Prepare regular summaries for various internal bodies (General Management, Executive Committee, Management Committee) and external ones (notably ministries), within your scope

-More broadly, participate in the proactive monitoring of current and future funding opportunities available to BRGM, in coordination with DS, DICI, DF, and Operational Directions ;

- You may also, at the request of your line management, be required to take part in any other tasks within the scope of the D3P, depending on operational needs.

You will demonstrate the following skills and qualities:

- Strong interpersonal skills and ease in professional networking;
- Good knowledge of the functioning of the central government departments;
- Experience within networks involved in information dissemination and awareness-raising for national public expertise programmes;
- Good knowledge of the full range of BRGM activities;
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to propose solutions and provide clear synthesis
- Strong listening, facilitation and knowledge-sharing abilities
